Sustainable Poetry Stones
Sealey 5th grade students collaborated together to create their own piece of public art. Inspired by Sue Stelzmann's Gaines Street Tree Wall, the students created poetry stones for Art Alley's rain Garden. Each group of students collaborated to write a nine word poem about sustainability. Each group divided up their poem into three stones (three words per stones) and imprinted them with their poem. Last, we installed them into the rain garden at the Art Alley, which lies between Gaines Street and St. Farancis Street in the All Saints district of Tallahassee.
